    If you're just looking for something to have fun with, I always thought one of these might be a blast and about the only kind of "machine gun" that I could afford to feed.

    don't forget that with things like grenades, not only are they quite expensive for such a short time of enjoyment, but there probably aren't many places you can use it (like a grenade range?) and other than that, they aren't really practical, not even in a collectors or "safe queen" manner.

    i have 4 grenades. all inert. for training purposes only.

    good question: why do you want grenades. bad neighbors?

    Like was said before, they are legal with the feds if you go through the proper hoops, your state allows them and you can afford the prices. Now as to whether they are legal to use for self defense, that also varies state to state. As I recall, AZ allows them to be used (and even carried concealed) for SD, but I don't think the same is true for many other states.

    Carried concealed, eh? I wonder what the officer would say if during the traffic stop you point out that you have a legally concealed Uzi on you...

    In Florida, it'd work; hell, even throw in a shorty pistol-gripped shotgun around the other shoulder... but don't be surprised if you get this look:
