Indoor Range setup
We have a couple of nice indoor ranges here locally. I had joined one several months ago. While the weather was nice outside it was comfortable to shoot indoors. But, now that it is in the teens and single digits it is very cold inside. They use a forced draft type of set up to rid the lanes of fumes , smoke etc. So not only is the air temp very close to outside air temp but you have a wind chill factor as well. Was wondering how you boys up north are set up. they do use spot heaters but even with the outside temp in the high 30's it is very cool inside. Are your shooting lanes heated? is it comfortable even with snow on the ground?
Nice and warm. Full heaters indoors. No spot heaters at the range I frequent.
They need a countercurrent heat exchanger on the ventilation. Without it they are losing tons of money on heat...
