    My gun store (Pic)

I've seen many photos of guns but never any of the stores they came from. Here is a store I have been going to for 50 years. It has not changed a bit in all those years. The owner stills sells a lot of pistols, in fact their slogan is "The Pistol People". I drive by it every day. Unfortunately he carries mostly odd stuff these days but you never know...Anybody ever assigned to Ft. Campbell might recognize it.

Next time I'm at Whittakers I'll get a few photos because I know many buy from them over the phone and haven't seen the real deal.

The only things missing is a bloodhound lying under the porch and a few stripped out cars in the front.

From the looks of it, the owner isn't too worried about security.

Sure *looks* like it hasn't changed in 50 years. Where are Barney Fife and Andy Taylor? Where's the checkerboard?

Haven't seen anything like that since my last drive back home (Indiana).

Not a place I would walk into without escort. Then again I'm a city girl, not a country boy.
