I'd give $150 for one in known working condition.
+They shoot straight, point well, and the grip feels pretty good.
-They're front heavy, they're bulky, and there are NO parts.
It's a fun revolver. My buddy loved his (so did I).
Something happened to the timing or hand or some odd part that made it miss one primer on every six shots. Later it got to the point that it had to be checked to make sure the cylinder was locked in place on every shot.
The gunsmith had it for five months before giving up and deeming it a paperweight.
Second gunsmith took one look at it and said that he wouldn't work on it.
Llamas are just luck of the draw. My Max-1 C/F functioned like a dream and never missed a beat. I even chose to carry it because of it's reliability to feed anything and everything absolutely every time you pull the trigger.
Another Llama, a Minimax wouldn't feed anything reliably.
I'd love to have my C/F back, and I wouldn't mind a SuperCommanche at all. I'd just make sure to check them over thoroughly.
