"If I walk in the woods, I feel much more comfortable carrying a gun. What if you meet a bear in the woods that's going to attack you? You shoot it."

It's happening, sure.
I know that more liquidators are having a good year. This one, for example, which has a $3000 AMSEC 40x40x36" 1400-lb safe for $600. A few months back, I posted about an AMSEC TL-30 33x21x22" safe for $500. More examples like this are happening all the time.

I feel bad for folks, but I've had to sell guns in the past to help my family and was very appreciative when someone bought one.
Yeah, the deals are out there, but right now, there are more buyers than sellers so the deals are not that great yet.

Be patient. The wheel turns, Job losses, tax $$ due, boredom, second-thoughts, buyers remorse, all add up to LNIB back on the market over the next 12-18 months IMHO.

"But if they don't exist, how can a man see them?"
"You may think I'm pompous, but actually I'm pedantic... let me explain the difference."
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything."
Give it a few months, and it will happen. We've all been predicting it.
Even if no one sells their new guns, especially their ARs and AKs, the lack of demand should cause a pretty decent fall in prices. Just keep your eyes open for when the deals start coming. I'm sure many threads will be started here and at other forums at that time.
Same goes with ammo. By the time everyone gets caught up with ammo orders, chances are that people will be stocked up for a while and probably won't buy as often anymore. Combined with lower raw material costs which should trickle down by then, that should be cheaper by then, too.
Of course, that's assuming that other factors remain relatively unchanged.
Sooner or later sure. But I wouldn't hold my breath. Some think just holding a firearm for six months makes it increase in value automatically. Given the current hype and supply, nobody would be willing to take a loss on what they paid in my opinion. Bargain is a relative term.Bad Economy = Bargains ?
