I own a couple. I use them for field carry in low country/swamps. We've got rattle snakes, feral hogs, and the occasional nitwit hunting hogs on the wrong piece of property w/pit bulls, etc. The Judge does nothing really well but many things "pretty good". I mix the wheel beginning w/#6 followed by 45's or buckshot followed by 45's depending on the season. Yeah.....there's arguments against doing so but it works well as long as you remember your loading pattern. And I never change my 2:3 mix. If you put the Judge in it's proper place and use it accordingly, it's a fine gun. BTW, change the grips to Hogues if you get into one. Oh yeah.....I can't even imagine a Judge in IWB or something like that. Nope....that doesn't work.
