I would like to have one also, but $1000 + is out of my range.

Mine did terrible at the range. Almost all of the first 200 rounds were FTE with 2 FTF's.
I called Springfield... they wanted it returned, and within 1 week I had it back and it has worked flawlessly since. Hats off to Springfield's customer service.
I now have no complaints about the gun, like the night sights on it, and the accuracy, operation and shooting is absolutely GREAT !!!!
Great gun for carry.
I've looked at them but kinda hard to justify the huge price tag

"You have chosen wisely". NIce pistol, now go for its big brother in .45ACP. Love mine.
I've had one since May 07. It's a safe queen for the most part now, but it's a nice piece.
Here's some thoughts I put up on the gun back then on my site.

I think you'll like it, but I don't think it will be your last cc gun

Brownie Thank you! am looking forward to the little bugger. Will keep you informed.
More than welcome auburn4,
I think you'll like it, flat, easily concealed and fairly light as medium sized auto's go.
Keep us posted on how you like it.

I carry mine in a DM Bullard IWB holster in the appendix position, or in a Brommaland max con V, IWB at about the 4:00 position. Great gun! Mine has been very reliable so far. (about 1800 rounds)

I just love those EMP's. I wish they weren't so darn expensive.

Im Extremely happy with mine. Its 1 of the nicest guns Ive ever owned & the only 1 in my collection I can see having forever. Stay away from UMC ammo with it. Its not powerful enough to make the slide lock back after the last round untill its broken in real good. Mine does like to run a little on the wet side but its had about 600rdst hrough it & eats everything I put in her.
Thanks for all your comments. I will post pictures and what i did at the range, holster etc., Springfield is going to make a production run the first week of March. Again, thank you'all.
