    Where to purchase an AR-15

Was browsing the Stag Arms website among others comparing the AR-15 models and on the order form was a statement that an FFL was required for purchase. I researched Federal Firearms Liscence, it applies to dealers. Am I correct in assuming that only dealers can purchase this rifle online? Any recomendations as to gun stores in Washington State, Seattle area?

You need to purchase through your local dealer. If you do purchase online, you must have it transfered through a local dealer.

Check out Wades Eastside Guns in Bellevue. Haven't made it there myself yet, I live on the east side, but I hear good things about it. Also, take a look at a shop in Wenatchee. I know it isn't very close to you but they currently have several AR style rifles for sale and might ship for reasonable prices. I would recommend calling them as their online prices seem to be a little higher than store "cash" prices. The websites for these stores are wadesguns.com and luvtohunt.com respectively. Good luck!

Wades in Bellevue has the best selection in the greater Seattle area.

Discount gun sales has several locations in the area, I haven't bought anything from them but the employees in Kirkland seemed OK.

West Coast Armory in Issaquah has some ARs - or did when I was up there a month and a half ago. East County Guns in Elma should have some too.

You can buy online, you just have to make arrangements with a local FFL to accept shipment and do the paperwork when it arrives - they usually charge a fee for this service. Anywhere from $10-50 would be reasonable IME.
