I saw this in a magazine a while back, looks interesting. I'd like to get a wheel gun sometime, this looks like one to take a serious look at.

    It's actually Ruger not Luger!

I would be surprised if anyone except reviewers have any in their hands as it is not do to be released until Mar 1, 2009.

I would imagine the LCP would be the same, as it was copied from the Kel-Tec. They are fun little guns, and ultra concealable.
He's referring to the LCR, not the LCP.

I handled one at the SHOT show. Eh, not for me. YMMV.

To me it felt out of balance and barrel heavy. Trigger nothing to write home about. Would be interesting to fire one and see how it shoots. In my book it just solved a non existant problem.

    LCR

Saw and played with one at SHOT. I like it as a concept, but the MSRP was the same as the SR9. If it was inexpensive it would be more attractive.

My friend shot one at The Shot Show. He said it was no big deal, it handled recoil well, and shot as accurate as a Smith J-Frame. We have several on order but, haven't seen any yet.

Is it just me or are S&W and Ruger having a contest to see who can build the ugliest revolvers? IMHO the Nightguard series and this thing are the butt-ugliest handguns to come down the pike in a long time. I'm all for form follows function but come on!

If it was a 6 shot .357 I would be more interested.

Called Ruger sales today and they said "shipping to distributers at the end of the month".

    We'll see...
