Dave thx re the Clays load - I know other guys use that but - not a powder in my collection. I have too many as it is LOL!
No, I think it'll be either a good ol' 5 of Unique or may work up a load with Solo 1,000 - cheap as heck so very economical and I have an 8# jug of it - 4.6 - 5.1 looks promising but will do some trials and work up.

Titegroup always seems to leave colors like that
+1 on the Unique for 45 ACP, and light 45 Colt rounds. A lot of bang for the buck with light loads. Again, easy to double charge.

Yep Duck - beware the double charge - that's for sure!
I do fortunately maybe, load ''the slow way'' - good ol Lee turret tho I can chonk'em out quite quick. That does tho guard well against a double throw as turrel advances after one drop. If I am ever unsure I empty case and go round again.

Its nice to use a powder that fills the case pretty well but not always easy to
