A Walmart Simmons should do the trick. About $30.00 after tax.

I love 22's they are fun and cheaper to shoot, notice I said cheaper as ammo prices have gone up it is now about 3 cents a round for 22 ammo in bulk boxes

+1 on the Simmons. I have one on my Ruger and it has served it's purpose well. Enjoy your new plinker.

Check out Millet's offerings. They are making some decent scopes for good prices. I just put one on my 17HMR and I'm very pleased with it.

I just picked up a Savage MkII bolt action 22lr. I think it came with a Simmons. Not a lot of recoil, so a great scope isn't really needed to hold a zero.

    Nice sig sixto

+1 on the Millet. I mounted one of their red dot scopes on my 22. A good quality scope at an affordable price.

Simmons or BSA.....maybe even a Centerpoint Optics. Congrats on your new 22 rifle.
