Got a Springfield .45 Loaded TRP for Christmas. Had the match barrel and bushing crio--cryo--kri-- oh heck frozen at 300below while still unfired. It's a constant companion. Took it to the gun club this morning and shot a couple of types of ammo through gallon jugs of water to attempt to determine which perform best at the distance I'd be shooting for home defense (no carry law in Il.). I think you'll love the accuracy and the 1911. I've owned a half dozen other types and continue to come back to the 1911 every time.
Thanks for the comments everyone & yes i do like it, i actually am thinking about selling my Kahr PM45 which ive carried for about a year now & do love it. But i found this & i think iam in love..........dang it
Beware the 1911bug I've got a Kimber ultra cdp and love it along with a full size S&W. Great design - guess that's why it's endured through every major fighting conflict in the 20th century and still is used by fighting forces worldwide.
