well gf took her course sunday and is filling out chp paperwork as we speak! here is my question. we want to start shooting at something that resembles an armed bg anyone with dimensions for a pvc stand to mount targets? and where do we find the targets? i asked the guys at cabelas and he looked like i was crazy

There's plans for a stand
Go to the video store and get some of thier old card-board, full sized, stand ups.
Look for J man and give him a PM. He just made one moving target and two static target stands out of PVC. We used them for the first time today. They are excellent. He'll give you the specs.
As a matter of fact, I'll steer him to this thread tomorrow.
Go to a local gun show , most of the time there are several people there selling sillouette targets pretty cheap.
Also: Targets : Paper & Cardboard Shooting Targets - Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. and Target Barn.
If you have a local IDPA club, that's a great place to practice defensive pistol techniques.
