If your real serious about an O/U look at the new SKBs. Jaquas Fine Guns in Ohio has them for around $1500.00 new. SKB makes a very good gun, and they just cannot be beat for service. If your just going to shoot trap, look at the Browning BT99s. (SBT)

Well I like both O/U and Semi, but I already own a semi as my field gun, so I think I would just like something alittle different. I think I just need to go to a gun store and shoulder some and see what I like.

Good idea. I shot trap with an 870 pump for a number of years. There is an old fella in our club who uses a pump and does right well with it. He even shoots the Skeet matches at our sister club and does real well with it.

    Pumps are really good.
O/U tend to be ultra reliable for the most part. They either work or they don't.
The semi's occassionally jam up. Not as big a deal on the skeet range, but it really breaks the rythm on the trap line.

If your going to shoot registered trap you'll want an o/u.At least 90% use o/u
where I shoot with a $1500 budget you should be able to find a good dependable shotgun. If it was me I would look for a Beretta 682 or 686 I think
your going to have to find a motivated seller to find one for $1500.You'll find all
kinds of Brownings o/u,Remington 3200 is still wonderful trap gun,Remington 1100,1187,semi auto are good as well as the 870 pump.they will be less than
the o/u.Good luck in your search.
