Had a few already and bought the Marlin 60. I think next up is a Remington 597 or Ruger 10/22.
I see my local gunshop guy has a nylon too Hmmmmm

Have you seen the new Sig 522? MSRP is 539.00 I bet you could find it around 450.00 or less.

Don't get any old Mossbergs......they are addicting
I started with a 46Mb, then found a 51Ma that I had to have.....then the other day I walked out of my local shop with a 152. Along with the old Remington 5-teens I have I will soon have to find a safe stretcher to make them all fit.
I prefer the 10/22, there is so much more you can do with one. If you want a really nice 22 that is priced reasonable for what it is, look at a T/C classic.

My brother in law just bought the Keltec SU22. Its nice and all but I just am not a $400 .22 guy.
I think in the $200-$250 range is where I wanna be. Then add the scope. I dont need to make EBR 's out of em. However, a 10/22 with the Tapco thing looks pretty freakin cool.
My local guy I buy alot of guns from has a Remington in his shop right now in Camo. He's just asking a bit too much for it IMO. He wants $200 and Im just not sure the Remy is worth that used.

+1 for the 10/22. It has a ton of aftermarket goodies and is a great price too.

10/22 is a must have (although I don't have one at the moment). Another one I'm glad I do have is the henry survival rifle.

A 10/22 target model will keep you busy for a very long time if you're so inclined. It will also keep a smile on your face most of the time as well. I figure it's the easiest and most widely user modified 22 rimfire rifle in the world and for good reasons.
I have 20 .22 rifles; I think I'm hooked. They can be as addictive as 1911's - Run! Run!

+1 for 10/22. You might find your other .22 rifles collecting dust after you get one though, so be warned...

If you're going to own more than one 22 rifle, give some consideration to a CZ 452/453. Great bolt action rifles. :)
The Nylon 66 rifles are pretty collectible these days.

Those 10/22 are realy the one to have if you can only buy one. They are a work horse and will pretty much eat anything in my experience.
