CC multiple pistols in another state.

I was told today that a MI CPL holder can CC multiple pistols in another state, even if that state limits carry to one firearm.

    Is this correct?

It was my understanding that you could go to a state that recognizes the CPL, but you would be required to carry per the limitations of that state and the limitations of the MI CPL.

As an example, some other states have CW (allows stun-gun for example). The MI CPL only applies to a firearm (pistol), so a MI CPL holder in that state could not carry a stun-gun.

As another example, if that state does not allow multiple firearms or limits mag capacity, the MI CPL holder would need to alter their carry method.

    Does anyone know?

Follow the law for the state that you are going to be in. They don't care what you can/can't do at home.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.

Having a CCW permit only allows you to follow the CCW laws of another state (when visiting that state)...five states require that you be a 'resident' of your 'permitting' state. (WV, MI, FL, KS, and CO)
Know the laws of the state you visit!

You must obey the laws of the state you are in while carrying, not the laws of the state your permit was issued in.

+1.....I asked this question to Utah BCI (issuing entity) and got the response that; as long as you have reciprocity, you may legally carry per the laws of the state being visited.

In Utah, I can carrry in a restaraunt that serves alcohol, but if I got to a state where that's a no no, I can't. Just follow the laws wherever you go.

Always confirm state laws before travelling armed.
