Gun show hysteria - radio ad

CE gun shows has a radio ad for a show this weekend in Norfolk, VA. It was slipping through my subconscious monitoring system this morning until I heard, "Use your Second Amendment rights! Buy your gun while you still can!"

Sheesh, if this is how they are advertising all their shows, no wonder dealers are busy and ammo is nowhere to be found. People who don't know better must be thinking the fix is in and sales are about to end.

Yup, they are feeding the frenzy, thats the same stuff CE does here in Central Ohio, and the shows are packed every time.

It's all about capitalism......and they do that with all products.

The people running the gun show ad don't seem to have any confidence that the pro gun crowd is winning. I hope

They should be promoting a good gun class and proper training rather than scaring a new gun owner into buying something that they have no idea about and could potential hurt themselves or those around them. I am all for increasing our gun owner numbers but do it safely.

Our President has too much on his plate right now to add this to his plate. This is one battle he won't take to the people because he'll lose. Our Founding Fathers said in second amendment we have the right to keep and bear arms
and our Supreme Court reaffirmed this position last fall just before the election!

The advertisers are exercising their First Amendment Right to get folks to exercise their Second Amentment Right. Good for them!!

Since the future is so uncertain, people need to buy now and learn later. I just hope that learning is not an 'on-the-job' type of thing.

+100 I went to my last show here in Tampa late last summer/fall when the frenzy began. They were always busy but it's just nuts and folks I know that still go say it's just getting worse. Here they should use a different venue at the fairgrounds that will hold a few more folks comfortably but that may not hold them all.
