I just started converting to both eyes open, having a hard time with it. I do agree with the common sentiment that it is much better for threat assesment and target aquisition.

Both eyes open, every time. It takes practice to learn to do and maintain.

Defensive Carry Search Tips

Take Brownies class and you will keep both eyes open and not use the sights at all. I am right handed left eye dom I used to close my right eye to line up the sights after Brownies class both eyes open shot placement where you want it without looking at the sights once.
