Has anyone owned or used?
It is a "competition gun" per Glock's website.
Just wondered how I would do as a new owner, its use would be strictly at the range.

If you like Glocks then you will like the 35. it is a great gun. I got it for IDPA and got a 9mm barrel for it also. it was a very versatile gun. It shoots great and has better balance than the 22, for me. A while later i got the 34 and used that as my main IDPA gun. Not that I didn't like the 35 any longer, I just standardized all my pistols to 9mm.
Bend the knees, smooth is fast, watch the front sight.
I am looking at the 9mm barrel too. cheaperthandirt has discontinued them, can you suggest another place?
Tks
I got a KKM barrel and had it fitted. You could probably go to Lone Wolf and find other drop in ones.
I did the whole conversion when I did it. I changed all the .40 parts to 9mm ones. Those are the extractor, ejector, spring loaded bearing, barrel and magazines. You have to be careful of the ammo used though. Mine would feed anything but WWBVP. Those just didn't have enough oomph to drive the heavier .40 slide. I'd get double feeds with those.
Oh, it will also make your 35 an ESP, if not illegal, gun for IDPA. The 9mm barrels are considered bull barrels and not really legal. That is another reason I went to the 34. i wanted to start shooting sanctioned matches and didn't want the hassle of getting DQ'd due to an illegal gun.

Thanks.
First, ESP=?
Next, I am being told there are NO Glock 35s left anywhere and few handguns period!!!
I always could time things right - ask me when I got into the
stock market!
about the illegality; I presume you refer only to the regulations of a competition and not state or fed laws - and that I could just put the gun back the way it was (40) and I would be 'legal' for competition again?
