Sighting in an old Python...
Hey Guys, I have a nice Python 357mag, with the adjustalbe rear sights. I know that 38 ammo is often used for target practice, but i didnt know if any of you have a fairly proven way to get that all-essential initial sight-in.Should i stick with a box of 357?, or is it OK to do with the 38spl? P.S, Any suggestions for a good initial sight-in distance?

I shot both 38 and 357 from my python without adjusting the sights, but I was focused on combat shooting and not so much bullseye, usually the 357 will hit a little higher than 38spl.Usually anything from 10 to 25 yds is a good sight in range. Most of my defensive shooting is at 10 yds or less with some 25 yard slow fire
