Not exactly, I want a Win 70 sporter varmit heavy 26" barreled rifle in a 308. I don't want any other caliber, except maybe 7mm (not mag)
I have only ever seen 1 other of these rifles and it went for $585 and I only had $550, not the 2nd time around I find one I have 0 $$ kinda sucks.

7mm or 7mm-08 either one. I don't think your going to find that rifle in either of those calibers though.

Uh, we don't have any big game where I live, the average size whitetail is 100-140lbs. Some black bears, but the biggest I've seen taken around here was 513lbs dressed out, and that was taken with a 300 savage, but most black bears are 200 and under.

Well since we've been pokin' fun at Glocks lately (another thread), I can't resist mentioning that if you'd been buying Glocks instead of 1911s, you'd have plenty of money left to buy the rifle.

That was kinda cold wasn't it. I feel bad now!
