Everyone should research their own state laws prior to transporting guns.
Same here in NH. OC is perfectly legal as is CC with a permit. Any handgun that is being transported in the state is considered concealed if it is inside your car. If you want to OC a handgun and don't have a CC permit in NH, better get in shape and ride your bicycle.

Store guns are not ever covered under a CPL.

Being an FFL offers you no protection for anything regarding these matters.

So y'all are telling me that if I am in certain states (MI, NH, AZ, etc.), if I don't have a Conceal Carry Permit (or whatever they are called in that state) and I am transporting a handgun secured in a case that is inaccessible to the driver, with the ammo stored in a separate container, going to or from a location to use said handgun for a legal purpose, I am committing a crime?!? Even batshit crazy Illinois isn't that messed up!

For the most part. The law changed somewhat in January where there is a 180 day period you are exempted. I will look it up later but promised my wife I'd watch a movie with her if she helped sort brass so I have to uphold my end of the bargain now.
