I have a Remingtom Mohawk 10C 22lr that my father gave to me when I was 10. Still have it to pass to my oldest son (as soon as he is old enough and responsible enough).

I have my great, great father's muzzleloader. We figure it's from 1850. Had it for 25 years.

I didn't actually understand the question???
Is it "What is the oldest gun I own"????
or
"What gun in my collection have I had the longest"????
The oldest is an 1860 SxS muzzle loader shot gun, next oldest is a .50 cal 1870 Springfield Rolling Block rifle...both obtained by my Dad in the mid 60's.
The gun I have personally owned the longest is a J.C. Higgins break-down .410 that my grandfather had used in Rattlesnake control in central Texas and gave to me in 1963 shortly before his death.
Other than those old things, I don't have any other guns

Still have an old Remington Nylon 66 .22lr, that an uncle gave to me when I was just a kid in the late '70s.
My grandfather gave me a Smith and Wesson 61-3 escort 22lr around 1990. He bought it for my grandmother in the mid 1970's. I have had hunting rifles since about 1980 but they are long gone.
The oldest gun I own is not the gun I have owned the longest.
I think the gun I have owned the longest, a Davis .32 auto, is about twenty years. The oldest gun I own I received from my father about three years ago.
The oldest gun is a flint lock blunderbuss. Oldest breechloader is a Russian Berdan rifle from about 1890 something.

I have a Savage .22 HP, Model 1899H, Lever Action. Manufactured 1918-1919 time frame. My Dad had it when I was born, and it was given to me when I was ten, so I've had it 59 years. Dang ammo for it isn't cheap and is kinda hard to find...but I think I'll keep it. Have a Beretta 418 manufactured 1948 which my Dad gave me about two years ago. And also have a H&R 923, 9 shot .22 revolver. Dad gave me that one as well.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
The oldest gun I own, I inherited from my grandfather, 32 years ago: his 1923 Remington Auto-5. It was my great-grandfather's last gun, handed down to my grandfather, once he was old enough to hunt the fields of northern Alabama.
