10mm ammo is expensive, but reloading can bring the cost down substantially.
Not sure how easy 10mm projectiles are to come by, but if you can get CMJ (copper plated) the cost is mice nuts.
Im reloading 9mm with CMJ projectiles from Frontier Bullets (South Africa) for about $6US per 50 rounds (using my own brass, federal primers and ADI powder).
CMJ doesnt handle high velocity but would great practice rounds, load some FMJ or JHP for your defensive rounds and keep a small quantitiy aside.

I already own a Colt Delta Elite in 10mm an was thinking about selling it, but came to my senses and I am currently looking for a Glock 29, to maybe take over my daily carry duties, which is currently a .45.
But a little voice keeps saying I should get another .45, Glock 30

Not for me... Nothing personal, just not interested in the cartridge.

Kind of peaked my curiosity. Maybe something like a camp carbine, would be cool!

would be a sweet carbine to have,
but I have no interest in a 10mm pistol for the same reason I don't have a .40....I already have 9mm and 45 handguns and ammo plus these 2 calibers are normally available almost everywhere
I'm not sure anyone has ever had 10mm on the shelf here

Found some 10mm Brass today for sale $16US per 100 cases. No projectiles though, if fact you have to wonder if projectile manufacturers would waste their time when they could make it in 9mm and .45 and watch their product fly off the shelves.

MidwayUSA lists 35 different projectiles. You find them listed with the .40s because they are the same size. .40 is a shortened 10mm round.

Guess I'm kind of lucky, I have a Smith 610 revolver and a 1006 Auto. Both are great shooters.

No, because if I ever used it for self defense I might be faced with some pretty serious ramifications in court. I'll stick with the .45 ACP.
But the ramifications are a whole different subject.

I haven't found a need or a want for one in the past, today is not any different.
I choose no, but not because it is becoming obsolete, but don't see where it fits in for my usage.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

The only reason I would want a 10mm is if I were hiking in bear country.

The 10mm is a great round. I have a Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail in 10mm and love it.

I voted no, but not because I'm afraid that it's becoming obsolete. The caliber just doesn't offer anything unique enough to justify the purchase IMHO.
