Pachmayre compac grip or hogue monogrip?

Of these two grips which would you get for a S&W 340M&P? I like the monogrip but isn't it longer than the pachmayre grip? I'm looking for the shortest rubber grip that will cover the back strap of the gun as well.

I have The Hogue monogrip on my Ruger SP 101, it is a very comfortable grip and I don't have any problems with concealment.

I had the hogue mono grips on my s&w model 66-1 and my s&w 342 Ti airlite, I changed the j-frame to the pachmayrs first, then the k-frame. I really prefer them over the hogue now, they fill my hand better, and absorb more of the felt recoil, just mho.

I too favor the Pacs and for me they are a better stock. I've never really cared for the Hogues, YMMV. I suggest you try both and then decide.

I have the standard S&W extended grips on my Airweights, as I just use Stantard pressure in them. I use the COMPACs on my SS as I use +P in them. I like the COMPAC if I am expecting sharp recoil. As you are talking a very light revolver here, I recommend COMPACs from experience.
