    Kinda Tricky?

Hello, i carry a hip holster and i've put situations and questions on her before but the following question i'm a little dumbfounded by. I was curious if anyone has come across this situation before. Sometimes when i'm out i have to go to the bathroom, i'm not just talking to tinkle. Well when i go to the stall and i pull my britches down my gun will be exposed to the stall to my right. Even if i take my handgun out and rest it on the toilet paper holder my holster will still be visible. Any ideas or suggestions on what i should do in this matter?

And i know some might say, well.....don't go number 2 in public. But i'm looking for a better way, sometimes you just can't wait.

i was just thinking of this the other day actually..only thing i came up with was don't let your pants rest around your ankles.. keep the waist around your knees. most people won't notice to begin with.

Haven't dropped my drawers down to the ground since kindergarten...didn't carry back then either, it wasn't a problem.
So unless this is your practice, how is your holster seen by others?
If your waistline is up by your knees, just put your gun in a pocket...I WOULD NOT set it on anything.
These threads are filled with stories of guns left behind in the bathroom...it can happen, but not if it's in your pocket. OMO

Take a good "look" at the situation - your gun is probably at least ten inches from the divider plus the person in the next stall would be looking down at an angle (if inclined to look into your stall) so that even if your weapon is a bit below the divider they couldn't see it unless their eyes were even with the lowest part of the divider. Unless the guy next to you is a contortionist, no worries.

You can drop trou' to just below your knees and buckle your belt around your legs to keep the gun from flopping around.

Rest gun in crotch of pants until done - practically guaranteed that you won't forget it when you're ready to leave.

    Use the handicap stall.

Use the stall with a wall on your strong side.

I sometimes "roll" the gun and holster up in my pants so the next stall can't see it. One roll covers the gun and holster completely.

Since I use an IWP holster, that's not a problem. If I can rest it on a solid surface of the tissue holder, I put it there. If there's no solid surface, I put my pants around my ankles, and set the gun in my pants.

Just don't be like that guy a few months back that dropped his gun causing it to go off and the bullet shattered the toilet.

I agree with trying to find a stall that has a strong-side wall, or handicap. I just can't make the "Around your knees" thing work for me. It doesn't give me enough "breathing room"...
