What Other Countries Allow Their Citizens To Privately Carry Firearms?

Or is the US the only country in the World where citizens can privately carry? Just curious if any other country has a similiar 2A to ours.

I can't think of any.... which is why the rest of the world wants to squash it here.

Israel lets those in the military carry their military weapons.

Switzerland is another that comes to mind, but I think they cracked down on it recently.

When we liberate other countries why do we not recommend that their citizens have the right to bear arms? It is a GOD give right isn't it? This should tell you something about our current government.

Possibly Sweeden, but I'm not 100% sure. I have a friend who is a Sweedish Citizen, and I will ask him. I know that all men are required to be in the military, and I believe they are allowed to have their own guns as well.

    I don't ever think I have seen a photo of a Somali that didn't have an AK47...

You can carry in Israel and it is not just the military. Citizens can but I think they have to register their weapon and they can only have one to their name. There is a blog out there where some guy from Israel breaks it down.

I remember from when I was stationed in Panama back in 1990s (after Noriega) that there was a Concealed Carry Permit. I don't know if thats the case today.

It is heavily regulated from what I understand, but allowed once through the l"permit" process.

This is a sad thread! Too bad other citizens cannot lawfully defend themselves.

One day EVERY knee will bow,. At that point I'm sure everyone will be able to carry if that is there desire,. Think about it,. Jesus disciples carried swords, that was the weapon of choice in them days,. When He returns, all things and laws will change too,..

When I was last in Israel, our guide pointed out some guys OC'ing with big pistols. He said that they were ex-commandos and still had a price on their head.

Guns everywhere, yet the whole country had fewer murders than Minneapolis that year.

I believe that many teachers can carry in Israeli schools...

Utah must be another country...teachers there can carry, too!
    (With a permit, of course.)
