Fake Trijicom ACOG?
Went to the local gun show today, and this guy "not a vender" had a Trijicom ACOG for $300.00. I was ready to pull out my wallet, but under closer inspection it just didn't look like the real deal.
Does anybody know if there are Trijicom knockoffs, like the fake Rolex on the NYC street venders.
BTY, plenty of ammo, AR's, AK's, prices still high though.

I've seen some by actual vendors at gun shows. They label it as "ACOG TYPE site. I'd save up for the real thing.

yes there are, as well as fake Aimpoint and other clones out there as well. Some go as far as replacing the dust covers with the real brand before selling.

Lots of stuff being cloned these days - in theory its for the Airsoft crowd I think, but there are a lot of very realistic replicas being imported from China. The best way to be sure you aren't getting taken is to buy from a reputed Aimpoint or Trijicon dealer.

Dealexterme has a fake ACOG and the reviews on their own website are not great. Bushnel also makes a knockoff. The clones vary from good to downright bad.

Bushnel also makes a knockoff.
Sort of... I believe you're talking about the Bushnell Trophy MP. Its certainly not in the same league as the Chinese junk mentioned above. The Bushnell kinda looks like an ACOG at a glance, but its nothing like it in function. Its a battery powered, unmagnified red-dot type sight (with a "T" reticle rather than a dot). Sure, its not an ACOG, but its a good red-dot, at a reasonable price. I got it for $150 at Cabelas. I like it alot.
