    Nagant M1895

First and foremost, I did a search and couldn't find a thread on this specific weapon, so I thought I would start one up. I was a bit surprised that it hadn't been the topic of discussion previously!

Anyhow, it's been quite a week for me! Not only did I finally join the Webley ranks, winning a 1918 Mk VI from GunBroker; but I also picked up a 1939 Nagant M1895 at the local gun show today!

Here are a few quick pics using some stuff I got in Bosnia 11 years ago, just to add some more "character" to the pics...

And, as you can see, I was also able to find some 7.62x38R ammo. I got 50 rounds and hope to shoot both my new M1895 as well as my new Webley after the latter arrives around the middle of next week!

    Cheers! M2

Nice, I have a year 1944. Shots real good. Very accurate.
Never argue with idiots - they'll drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I also have a 1938 model and it shoots great. Ammo is a little hard to find.. but hopefully it will change down the road. or just use 32 mag rounds.

I have a SA/DA 1944. I shoot 32 S&W long or 32 HR mag, because you can't find the $5 boxes of surplus ammo anymore, and the Hotshot Nagant ammo runs about $25-$30 for a box of 50rds. I heard that you can also use them in SASS competition/shooting.
