Here is my new Savage Mark II BV with Mueller Scope.
Going to take the Grandson squirrel and rabbit hunting this fall. So I needed a new 22LR for the occasion.

You need to send it back...the bolt is on the wrong side!!!!
JK, I am a right handed/left eye dominant. I shoot a right hand bolt left handed. Iprobably should buy "left" rifles, but I don't. LOL I shoot my SD gun right handed with my left eye...
Nice little gun. Just thought I would stick up for us lefties that every body says is weird for shooting that way. LOL

I am just as nice as anyone lets me be and can be just as mean as anyone makes me. - Quoted from Terryger, New member to our forum.
I pity the squirrels! I've only shot a Savage once but was very impressed with the Accu-Trigger plus they really have a reputation for accuracy. Looks like you're in for some good times with the grandson!
I too am a cross-dominant shooter and have always shot long guns left handed. I shoot pistols/revolvers right handed but aim with my left eye. The first left handed bolt rifle I ever bought took quite a while to override the muscle memory I had already developed over the years to quit reaching with my right hand to operate the bolt.
I just returned from the range and sighting in the scope. All I can say is I love this rifle. Shoots like a dream and the rifle is more accurate than I am. It is going to take some practice to get out of this rifle all it has to offer.

Pretty wood!
"Who is to say that I am not an instrument of karma? Indeed, who is to say that I am not the very hand of God himself, dispatched by the Almighty to smite the Philistines and hypocrites, to lay low the dishonest and corrupt, and to bust the jawbone of some jackass that so desperately deserves it?"
Here is my first target after sighting in the scope. 3/4" at 40 yds resting the fore end on a tool box with blanket on top. No the best rest but all I have at the moment. I am excited with what this rifle is capable of.

Very nice! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
