    Yeah, don't post that pic.

Funny aside, not from a Pedi but my own Dr., I was in one day and they needed to listen to my lungs. When the Dr. pulled up the back of my shirt to place the stethoscope on me he saw my pistol. I could feel him pause and I heard a light "nervous" giggle and then he continued.

This Dr. has not looked at me the same since.

The thing that gets me is that groups like the AMA come out and makes anti gun statements when all their members are not in agreement. A doctor or nurse should stick to their business and stay out of ours. Too bad you can't sue the busy body for sticking her nose in your private affairs.

I guess I'm being paranoid. But, as one previous poster stated. "the doctors ask, then it goes on your record, which now all medical records are going to computerized methods" So, all someone in our corrupt government on directions of Pelosi or some other nut, is to pull up the records, and come knocking on your door.
My opinion, is the less they know about your personal life, the better.

What? And I thought government run healthcare would be a good thing. Silly me.

Most comments mirror what I'd have said /done. Remember Sixto, most doctors are "practicing physicians". They still haven't got it quite right to say the least.

That must be a pretty big doggy door.

I'm trying to picture a man crawling through a doggy door, with his backside stuck in the door.

PS: If you need a couch we have an extra one for sleepin'. Also, why was your child interrogated without an adult present?

Back when I was a kid the parents and the child went in the room. I would not allow a child of mine to go in to a Dr's Office alone at the age you stated your child is. Heck, when I go to the Dr now I drag Mrs. Biker with me, and we both go in the room. She does the same with me when she has an appointment too.

I agree with those saying I would be very mad...but Sixto is an LEO and is required to maintain a CERTAIN sense of decorum. Unfortunately.

CRAP! I can't find it now, but earlier this week someone sent me a little story about Husein's new Medical Insurance package. It seems that as part of the "system" doctors would be required to ask patients...even kids...whether there were firearms in their homes.
Wish I could find that article!

NWO... Gotta love it,.... We need to be aware of this for sure.. Teach the kids right so they don't allow this to affect them..

Yes, as I said before exactly the same thing happened at our former pediatricians' office. What started the whole thing was my oldest boy drawing a picture of himself shooting his red ryder BB gun (which he got for his birthday about a month prior) with me in the backyard. The nurse took the picture and showed it to the doc, who proceeded to advise my wife that we needed to schedule an appointment with a "counselor" to visit our home to go over gun safety and storage with us. My wife told the doctor to finish his examination, and not to worry about gun safety in our home; she explained that I used to teach people how to handle firearms as well as BB guns and that I also used to teach the Texas CHL course as well.

Needless to say, we changed doctors. On of our first questions to our current pediatrician was how he felt regarding firearms. He escorted us into his office where he showed us the Bull Elk he took 3 years prior to our visit hanging prominently on his wall..
