Does anybody know of a good pistol smith that works in Alabama. I have an old 357 mag that my step father carried while he was in L.E. The hammer is shot, You can push on the hammer while it is cocked and it will drop. Engaging the primer of a round if it was loaded. I would like to get it fixed.

I second Walker arms- I have had great success with them. In Selma.
In Phoenix City there is a good smith- Pat Petterson. He mostly does shotguns, but will do a good job on a revolver such as a Smith. Note the spelling: Petterson. I believe his email is gunsmith@mindspring.com but you may need to search the web.
