    Smile A New Henry Rifle Today...

    Stopped into the gun shop today and couldn't resist picking up this...

    Henry Repeating Arms Rifles

    Although it's not the real picture, it's pretty much my setup.
    I got the Henry .22Mag with a VX-I 2-7x33mm Leupold Scope.

    The Scope was about half the price of the rifle, but it has a lifetime warranty and is certainly well worth the $$. If you're going to do it, do it right.

    This little rifle is my 'down South, homeboy AR'...

    Let's see now, how do I (safely) get it into the safe?

    That is a sweet looking .22 Mag. I've not owned one, but love rifles with octagon barrels!

    I'm somewhat envious. I want a lever action...sadly do to rent being like 50 dollars short the gun fund was drained.
    I know not what this "overkill" means.

    I'm in 22 cal mode (and snub-nose mode) myself right now. Love the Henry! Been watching for a Browning Belgium 22 LR auto take-down for a few months now while perusing the lever actions. Nice set-up you scored there.

    Very nice! I've been looking a long time for a Taurus 72 SS carbine in .22Mag. They don't make them anymore. Maybe a new Henry is the ticket?

    Gotta say it though......an octagonal barrel lever gun may be the one exception to my "every rifle deserves a scope" rule.

    I'm a huge fan of lever actions and my Henry .22 is certainly my favorite .22. I still want one of their rifles in .45LC, that would be nice. Good looking barrel on yours.
