The wife and I are taking a trip to the Orlando/Kissimmee fl area. I understand that gun shops down there have rentals to try out at their ranges. Has anyone done this before? We are looking for something new and do not know what we want. This appears to be a way to try out many different guns. What do you think?

Don't think you will find many if any ranges renting guns anymore. We have had a rash of suicides here in central fla many ranges have stopped renting guns.

If you get near Daytona we rent guns where I work. Take the hour or so trip up and PM me.
But, we do now make you sign a waiver that you're not crazy.

East Orange Shooting Sports in Winter Park (Orlando area) offers a pretty good assortment of guns to rent. Good, safe range and nice folks.
