Referbing my old Revelation Model 101

Guys, I still have the very first rifle I ever owned; it is an old Revelation Model 101, single shot, bolt action .22 rifle. It is the exact same gun as a Savage Model 73 and was marketed and sold through the old Western Auto stores in the early seventies. Cosmetically she still looks really nice, but it's time for some new parts.

I will be needing a new firing pin and an extractor for it and I was hoping to find somebody in here that can point me in the right direction for a good place online to get them. I also believe that there were two types of extractors used in this gun, depending on what year it was made; I got it for Christmas in 1974, at the ripe old age of Ten and I put quite a dent in the squirrel and turtle populations that year. Thanks in advance.............

    You are in luck.

Go to Gunbroker.com and type "Savage Model 73" into the search block.

There is a firing pin and an extractor listed on there. Two different sellers.

Thanks guys, but the first site I checked, which Gunny offered up, had everything I needed to get my old rifle back in new condition; parts should be here with in a week.

    that is great news!

just a tip, but you might consider getting a spare firing pin or two, and any other wear parts. Put them back for the next time. Some of those parts aren't going to be around for long you know.
