    22's are great. If we all at least shot 22's more it would make us better shooters. I just got a Browning BL-22 lever-action 22. May not be a heavy target gun like yours but its smooth and a real short lever stroke.

    You are right that we can all improve with more trigger time. 22's are a real affordable way to get that time in. Enjoy the Browning.

    Congrats on the Savage. I bought a similar model, MKII years ago at Wally World for $99 complete with scope. But not a bull barrel.
    Out of the box, Savage still makes great stuff!
