Bull! I find that I am calmer and more tolerant when carrying and driving. You can't afford an attitude. I drive closer to the speed limit, I don't make gestures at bad drivers, I don't want to attract attention. I think my experience is the norm, not the exception.

I'm new to this forum, but this study doesn't amount to much. All it shows is that people who have carried guns in their car are a little more likely to how shall I say display their middle finger. A repeat study might show that those people who carried guns in their car and have rage issues were also felonys, and that those who say had ccw permits were actually less likely to act in a provoking manner.

I never suffered road rage per se but on my daily commute I did have a short temper UNTIL I started packing my roscoe. Having the ultimate arbiter strapped to my waist caused an appreciation for the responsibility I assumed. We will be judged at a higher level for carrying a weapon. Now I just smile at the stupid jerks on the road.
