    I'd have to pass.

The heavily buffed and blued '42 Drewry receiver might be salvagable, but not worth $400.

You're correct Bruce, it's a Commander length slide on a GM frame. GHD are the initials of Brigadier General Guy H. Drewry, Army inspector for the Springfield Ordnance District. When I first saw your post, I thought maybe the dude was trying to pass it off as a General Officers Model.

The reliefs by the trigger for your finger just don't look right. As welll as the grip safety, thumb safety. Looks like someone just took a bunch o parts and put it together.

Oh yeah, when I said receiver, I meant "bare."
In addition to the parts you mentioned, the magazine release is wrong, trigger is wrong and the MSH is wrong too. The stock panels look like the baby poop brown ones that came with the early Springer GIs.
The whole top end is wrong, finger reliefs look OK to me.

Without a doubt, I would like to have the GHD frame though.

You know Bruce, that might not be a bad idea, USGI frames are hard to come by. Can you make out whose slide that is, I can't on my end.
