.32 ACP rifle chamber insert for .30-06..
Shooting Supplies, Shooting Accessories, Rifle Chamber Insert at Sportsman's Guide
I reload .30-06.
This has been pointed out to me a few times (a rifle chamber insert) for practice. I'm thinking not much in savings and could just reduce to close to min powder and lighter bullet in a .30-06 cartridge if less kick was desired.
I guess it would not change the noise, but would be closer than a .32 ACP for around the same price (or less) as buying .32 ACP retail.
I have no experience with these products. Any thoughts?

Reload 'em!
You can easily load '06 to the spec's YOU want, and far, far more economically than purchasing commercial .32s.
I load a lot of calibers and cast my own bullets.....the '06 is one of the easiest to get good results that I've found. From sabots to hard cast bullets of the weight of your choosing great results are easily possible.
One load I like that gives me superb accuracy is Lyman's 311041 (173 gr) over 12.5 of Unique, sized .308 and lubed with alox.................half an inch or better at fifty yards!.........(kapoc over the powder charge tho)
Figure it out cost wise and doing your own beats the devil out of those inserts.

What I figured. Just no experience with the inserts, was not sure if I was missing something.
Someone had suggested you could reload .32s and save even more, but at some point, time is money.
The only advantage I can really think of is the noise reduction.
