I just picked up a govt model. Its an off brand made by Metroarms in the Phillippines. I read these where imported by several other companies such as Firestorm. Mine comes from a import company called R.S.A. . It looks just like a standard Govt Model and shoots like one too I've only put 16 rounds through it and no problems. I've been looking for a new 1911 since i had to sell my Springfield Armory years ago. The price tag was $398 which is nice for a nothing fancy .45 . Now I just have to get some new magazines.
