Bob set me up with a sweet gun last week (for the money) but I am NOT going to post a pic here until he makes a showing on this forum and thanks everyone for their prayers!!
Bob, if you don't post here by Friday morning you are officially a Jackass!!! OK, a Jackass with bruises!!! LOL!!!
Maybe the accident affected his fingers?Originally Posted by jAK-47

Man, with friends like us who needs enemas?
Sorry for the late post. I hope you are recovering well. I'm sure sorry you had to go through this. We miss you. Get well quick.
Waaaaaayyyy off topic BUT, since we're waiting for Bob to show...
I know NOTHING about "1911 style guns" (shame on me) and I took a Colt Govt .380 home to play with from KTP (Bob made me). I disassembled it OK but when I went to put it back together again it just wouldn't cooperate. It LOOKS like the extractor claw (proper term??) is sticking out and hitting against the back of the barrel.
I've tried EVERTHING but no go. Anyone care to guess what happened? I'll be taking it back to KTP today and they will help but I'd like to fix the problem myself. AND if Bob is working today he could hold the gun up for all the sales clerks and customers and have a good laugh at my expense!!!
This is just me, NOT Bob speaking - I think Bob's lawyer has told him not to make any public statements about the situation right now. I see Bob at work a few times a week and he just avoids the topic so... After things settle down I'm sure Bob will thank everyone personally for their thoughts and prayers. Again, this is just my opinion.
Ya' know, I hadn't thought of that but it makes sense. At least we know he's been seen in the vertical position recently. Hopefully he can get back on here soon and "shoot the breeze."
BTW, sorry about the .380 Gov't. problem. Not much I can offer as I'm not really familiar with that model. Did you figure out what the problem was?
jAK - yes that figures - probably wise.
Make sure anyways if you would that Bob knows we have been thinking about him - convey our best wishes.

ahh but he could pop on and just tease us with so more guns at least
I would like to see a nice Colt Mustang sitting in that glass case with a decent price tag.
Yeah, just kept tinkering with the Colt and figured it out. If you haven't "played" with a 1911 it can be tricky getting everything back again. Once you do it, it's easy...
In other words, you're not gonna tell us what you did wrong, are you?Originally Posted by jAK-47
