I owned a Tec 9 years ago and ended
up selling it because it just wasnt reliable enough.
I bought a browning 9 instead.

I had an Intertec KG-99. The original Tec-9. What a piece of crap! Gang bangers gun of choice. It functioned fine, but very inaccurate, and front heavy.
I traded it and a motorcycle for my Colt AR-15 A2 Govt. Carbine. I think I got the better end of the deal, but the guy was happy so it worked out well.

I must admit they do look cool but
cool wont save your neck if you needed to fire it.
Mine kept jamming and had light firing pin strikes resulting
in misfires all the time.
Speaking of Intra Tec forgot about the
cool lookng "Cat" series of pistols they offered
not sure how reliable they were or if they still make
them.
