im taking a trip to NC.. i have a CCW through VA and i was wondering if my CCW will follow over to NC.. i see NC does have a CCW program..
can someone show me a law that is saying i can.. i couldnt find anything really saying if i could or if i couldnt.

Check your states laws (in Kansas it is the attorney generals site), they should mention states that recognize your license, I'd also check any states that you are travelling to.

Bear in mind that legal advice from the internet is worth what you paid for it. I'd check the attorney generals office of the states to see if they have reciprocity, if they do, then you are good. Just remember that you have to obey the laws of the state you are in, not those of the state you license was issued in, while you are in another state.

Just be sure you know North Carolina laws for concealed carry. You must follow the laws of the state you are in, not the laws of the state that issues your permit.

One of the biggest differences is in NC you must inform
any officer immediately that you speak with even if it is just for directions
that you are carrying and they are serious about that one.
In Va you dont have to inform the officer.
Also in NC you are not allowed to carry into any financial institution
think in VA unless posted you can carry in financial institutuions.
Also in VA you cannot carry in places of worship in NC you can
as long as it is not used for a school. But of course always do your
own research just to be sure.
