Watched Medium last night, the detective at one point gets really pissed at a guy and pulls his SA/DA auto and sticks it to the guy's head, then cocks it with his thumb to indicate he is serious.
When he decides not to shoot the guy, he decocks it by pulling the trigger and easing the hammer forward, WHILE IT IS STILL POINTED AT THE GUY'S HEAD

After a huge shootout with huge numbers of dead people, the GG just gets to walk past the late arriving and scene securing officers, no questions asked. Well, at least sometimes the cops give the GG a blanket.
Riggs in Lethal Weapon thinks that he needs a hollow point to blow his brains out correctly.
Swallowing a 1911 and shooting ones self throught the jaw still allows for hearing and speaking (let alone breathing) in Fight Club. I guess he didn't take Riggs advice on bullet choice.

Semi-auto locked open yet still shooting or pointed at BG when it is obviously empty
Never having to reload
Cars that just blow up- see American Psycho for a little satire.
People hearing just fine after a gun fight…right
Mexican standoff- total BS
When the good guy just drops a gun because now he is out of ammo
Good guys who hit with every shot but BGs who can’t hit a barn.
Anytime a gun comes out you hear and or see the character racking the slide to load it. Right, if they were such experts the gun would already be loaded, chambered and ready to go. It’s like when you hear someone draw a sword in a movie and you get the tell-tale sound of the blade scraping against metal. BS. That would dull the blade every time. Sheaths were typically leather so as to not dull a blade.

Watching "The Untouchables" recently, Costner gun in hand, booger hook on the trigger while picking up and holding his daughter.
Always remember that others may hate you but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them. And then you destroy yourself.

Riggs in Lethal Weapon thinks that he needs a hollow point to blow his brains out correctly
However when we see him holding the round in his trailer before he puts it in his gun it is a fmj.
