    Another new toy !!!!

    For years...I have read about Smiths' 617. The mighty K-22 ! And yes... she is that.

    Accuracy is the name of the game and ...oh so fun to shoot.... So I finally jumped on the bandwagon and splurged. Shes mine...all mine !

    Tis a beaute, hows it shoot??? I have a smith model 41.....its another very accurate .22

    Lovely pic tho and I think you'll enjoy that. Is that the one with 8 shot cylinder, I forget?

    As a total contrast - here is a very old predecessor, a ''pre K-22'' - which is a five screw. Blued of course and not full underlug.

    Always nice to add another piece of weaponry to the collection. Thats one sweet looking gun I always liked revolvers in stainless steel. Theres something about that look. Enjoy that new toy.

    I'm glad she works okay I had one of the 617's that was less than stellar as far as extraction went but it was a older 6-shot model.

    Why is it always me that gets those rare cantankerous S&W's?
