I'm not into the CAS stuff either. Seems kinda weird to me as far as the whole dress up thing. But that's just me. I do like the look of those old guns though. I like to see old guns come up from time to time and I get a kick out of thinking about the history behind it. I'd love to pick up a "older" SA wheelgun someday. They certainly look like a blast to shoot!

<----My LT was unhappy that I did not have my PASS-Tag at that fire. But I found the body so he said he would overlook it. :)

QK, the pics don't work for me but I'm also at work so that may be the problem.
I am not a big fan of shooting SAAs and the like, I don't own any. But I do think they can be some beautiful guns.

What caliber is the second from the bottom? From the position of the firing pin, it appears to be a rimfire.

Delta Force,
Great lookin' SAA! I have a weakness for them also.
Is it new enough to have the removable cylinder pin bushing that Colt went back to, like the 1st & 2nd generations?

I've been trying to figure out what gun I want next - something different and fun - maybe something the kid would want when I go - and after this thread - I'm picking up a Beretta Stampede Marshal today!! Just counting down until the store opens at 10:00! So STOP SHOWING BEAUTIFUL GUNS!!

I do but all I have is a .45LC Vaquero(sp) and a Rough Rider .22 (had to get it, reminded me of the old cap guns I had as a kid).

Stunning. I learned on single actions and still carry them on weekends. Nothing as nice as those, though.

Yup it has the removable cylinder pin bushing and is so fine to handle.I brought it out again today and put a bunch of rounds down the tube.Of course I also put 700 rounds through my 1911 like I try to do twice a week.

Good deal Delta, makes them much easier and cheaper to rebuild if needed.
