"Baby" Desert Eagle .45 ACP
Can be had at or under $500.00 with a little shopping. 10 rounds of .45 ACP effectiveness, or 15 rounds of 9 MM, you pick the flavor. All steel construction, easy disassembly and cleaning, very accurate. Bill T.
I dunno about #2-#5 but.....
#1 has to be the Glock 19 in my book.
I purchased a new FNP-9 from a local GM last year for $550.00. This is a quality pistol you can checkout at: FNUSA
If the price is 800 then I would go with a Sig. Glocks and XD's are great guns, but are a step below in my opinion.
I would consider them as the honda or toyota of the gun world. While Sigs and HK's might be the Lexus, or Acura of the gun world.
Wilson Combat and a Sweet Ed Brown would be the Benz.
I agree with the Glocks, XDs, Sigs, S&W, Kahr, etc. All offer good service. The bottom line might be if your life depended upon what you carry (and it just might) which brand and size would it be? Get real, carrying a G22 in your pocket aint going to cut an NPE. You might need a PM9 or J-frame or even LCP to keep it out of sight. In a SHTF scenario the more rounds of effective ammo the better. Remember even an LCP in the pocket is better than that 1911 in the truck. Carry the most reliable, accurate and effective gun "you will actually be willing to carry" on your person and be good to go. :yup:
Jericho 941, Beretta 92, Taurus 92, Gloook, Springer XD.
In no order of preference.
Sig P226, Sig P229, H&K USP 9, Glock 26, Glock 19.
cz75 and glock 19 keep on shooting and keep on thicking
Here's the request: 9 mm. Can be concealed.
