can you elaborate? or at least point us to a thread where you described the issues?

My personal AO/Kahr story can be found searching under my username. Basically, 4 trips back to the factory, lying, 6+ months, a replacement gun, and it still doesn't work. I'm sending it out to a real smith to have it rebuilt if possible.

The Kahr pistols themselves have substantial issues when they go bad - and you're faced with absolutely dismal customer service IME - as a dealer and as a customer. Metal hardening seems to be a black art to Kahr and AO, and the core of much of their problems.

I carry a P9 that I bought used, and have never had any problems with it after I read the owner's manual to use the slide release rather than the slingshot to load the first round.

Of course, that means I have never used their customer service, either.
