1960 Polish Milled Receiver AK-47's With Pics!

I just got back from J&G Sales in Prescott a while ago. I bought 2, of the 1960 Polish Milled receiver AK-47's they just got in. These guns are nice! Not cheap, but very good quality. They come with a bayonet and scabbard. If you get one go for the non laminated wood. That is what both of mine are, and they don't have the nails in them like the WASR 10 Romanian guns. The wood on these guns varies greatly. The salesman brought out 5 guns for me, plus the display model, so I had a nice choice. J&G only got 20 of these in, and they don't know when or even if they'll be getting any more. It's hit or miss. I bought 2, the salesman told me he put one aside for himself, so that leaves 17 when I walked out of the store at 8:30 this morning. Classic Arms is also selling these, but I don't know how many they have. For anyone interested in a milled receiver AK, jump on this. You won't be disappointed. Milled receiver AK-47's are getting harder to come across at a decent price. These rifles are really nice, and show excellent workmanship. Bill T.

Who is ATM, the maker of the Receiver they talk about? And who makes the barrels for them?

I have a Arsenal Bulgaria milled that I dearly love. Love a milled AK for sure.

    Ooooo... I want one!

I'd never seriously considered a milled reciever before, but those are a pretty good price they've got them marked at on the website. That might actually put it in the Christmas bonus price range I've set for myself.

    Couple questions:
    1. Are the barrels chrome-lined?
    2. Are the barrels pinned in or are they threaded?

Milled/machined receivers are a nice plus.

I don't believe any USA made barrels are being chrome lined. Still not sure who makes that receiver but every vendor now seems to have a few of these USA assembled from Kit guns now. At a reasonable price too I might add. The FSG seems to have a unique Bayonet lug that is matched to their bayonet too so get one with that already with it. from what I read a normal bayo will not fit it.

    OK!!! MILLED PICTURE THREAD@@@@@@ LOL
