A finely crafted Colt??? Not that one!

It looks like my 3yr old built a Colt 1911 out of silver Play-Doh! The entire gun looks hap-hazard and completely "backyard" engraved. It looks disgusting.

Gotta agree the artistic execution is poorly done but also, if you're going to try creating a sculpture then it has to have a cohesive flow of composition. This "little bit here, little bit there" crap doesn't cut it. That's just individual specimens instead of one piece of work. In any case, someone needs to take away his chisels and slap him stoopid.

Call me boring too....I prefer the plain and subtle....don't like "shinies" either. Have to agree that the sculpturing did seem ad hoc. What a waste of "low serial numbered" Colt !!!

There is an inherent beauty in a stock Colt pistol that hajibaba's can't capture-

    What the ------??
Is that 'thing' even 'functional'?? I wouldn't want to bet my life on it!
Too pretty to carry - NOT!
If he does that to his piece, can you {shudder} imagine what he does to his holsters???
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

I'd like to have that 1918 "heart-cutout" frame.
